Linda Faye Courtright, 72, of Loogootee, passed away at 5:16 PM on February 4, 2022, at Sycamore Care Strategies (Loogootee Nursing Center). She was born March 3, 1949, in Shoals, Indiana to the late David Daniel and Ruth Loucille (Lindley) Tinkle. Linda was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her grandkids. She also loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Daniel and Ruth Loucille (Lindley) Tinkle; siblings, Janet Ragains, Jack Tinkle, Clara Wininger, William Bill Tinkle, Daniel Tinkle, Carolyn Sue Bailey, Carl Tinkle and Pam Blair. Linda is survived by her children, Sandy (Keith) Carrico of Montgomery, Everett Hopkins of Loogootee and Starrla (Jerry) Bussinger of Loogootee; brothers, Tennis Tinkle of Loogootee, Harold Tinkle of Dubois; sisters, Yvonne Stone of Loogootee, Brenda Tedrow of Loogootee and Lana Bush of Linton; grandchildren, Brandon Carrico, Zachary Carrico, Moriah Bussinger, Ruger Hopkins and Sarah Bussinger; and one great grandchild, Leighla Grace Hopkins. Funeral services are 12:00 PM Tuesday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Pastor Marvin Lagle officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 9:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. The Queen-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
