Allen, 82, of Indianapolis, formerly Bedford, passed away on April 16, 2020 at Golden Living Center in Indianapolis.Born November 6, 1937 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Ray and Wilma (Wicker) Allen.He married Carole Kopp on April 15, 1961 and she preceded him in death on April 3, 2018.Dwight graduated from Shawswick High School. He was in the Army National Guard and retired from Martin Marietta in Indianapolis.Surviving are his children, Jeff (Pam) Allen and Lisa Clark; grandchildren, Samantha Jo Clark, Todd Allen Clark, Joshua Allen, Ashley (Bryan) Stahl, Catherine (Levi) Caudill, Maria (Daulton) Anderson; four great-grandchild, Brinlee Caudill, Watson Caudill, Avery Stahl, Laney Anderson; one sister, Geneva Hilleke as well as several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.A private family service will be held on, Monday, April 20, 2020 with Phil Thorne officiating.
