Frances Ellen HoskinsMay 8, 1929 - April 21, 2015Frances Ellen Hoskins, 85, of Mitchell, died at 3:29 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at her residence.Born May 8, 1929, in Bloomfield, KY, she was the daughter of William and Virginia (Humes) Duncan.She married Rev. Paul L. Hoskins on June 21, 1947, in Salem, IN; he died February 9, 2012.She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Mitchell, IN and had worked for over thirty years for Evangelistic Faith Mission.Surviving are two sons, Paul A. (Jean Amico) Hoskins, Mitchell, and Roger D. (Lisa) Hoskins, Heltonville; two daughters, Karen J. (Jim Pershing) Keith, Bloomington and Carol J. (Jerome) Troy, Wilmington, DE; Grandchildren Tina Ballard, Aaron Hoskins, J. R. Troy and Hayden Troy;One great grandchild, Tyler Ballard; and three sisters, Ruby Burns, Joyce Powell and Barbara Kilbourne.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; and two sisters, Lee Wasserman and Wilma Atkins.Funeral service will be on Friday, April 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford. Burial will be in Mitchell City Cemetery.Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.Memorial contributions may be considered to Hoosier Uplands Hospice.
