Gerdena Lee "Deno" Stroud, 73, of Orleans, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at her residence. She was born February 4, 1951, in Harrison, Arkansas, to Gerald M. and Nellie M. (Suntken) Camp.

Deno was a graduate of Fayetteville High School, Oakland City University and attained four master's degrees in Early Childhood Education from various universities. She worked at Hoosier Uplands Head Start, was of the Methodist faith and loved Snoopy and children.

Surviving to cherish Deno's memory is her son, Matt Stroud; brothers, Robert Camp and Melvin (Lea Ann) Camp; several children she considered grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; several great great nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Callie.

Deno was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family services have been selected.
