Harriett Crouch Merry, 74, of Ellettsville and formerly of Bedford, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at her home. Harriett was the daughter of Sherman Lee and Anah Gabbert Crouch. She married James Merry, Sr. on August 8, 1969, and he preceded her in death.

Harriet is survived by her son, Jimmy Merry, Jr.; she was preceded in death by her husband, James Merry, Sr. on March 30, 2015; and her daughter, Susan Merry, on February 22, 1980.

Cremation was chosen and a graveside committal service for Harriett Merry will be held at 10:00am on on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Spice Valley Baptist Cemetery in Mitchell.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford.
