Helen Crichfield 91, of Indianapolis, Indiana formerly of Bedford, Indiana passed away on August 21, 2024, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, Indiana. On May 11, 1933, in Ironton, Ohio she was born to the late Jesse and Nora McDaniel Gannon. On July 10th, 1976, she married Forrest Crichfield, and he preceded her in death in 2014.

Helen was a graduate of Ironton High School. And she was a member of New Hope Church in Bedford and retired from RCA. She also worked at Warren Township School with the Special Needs Department and was a bus monitor.

Surviving to cherish Helen's memory are her children, Joyce (Dan) Baker, John Randall Abbott, and Michael Crichfield; grandchildren, Jessica Baker, and Joshua (Sara) Abbott; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, six brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services for Helen will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes with Brother Tim Lanigan officiating. Burial will follow at Erie Church Cemetery. Visitation will also be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Ferguson-Lee Chapel from 11:00am until the time of service.
