Janice Marie Williams, 75, of Bloomington, passed away on May 9, 2023 at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford. Born on June 6, 1947, she was the daughter of Victor Vernon Jones and Dorothy Marie (Wise) Jones. She married Jimmie W. Williams in Indianapolis on August 9, 1973, and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2022.Janice worked as a Teachers Aid for the North Lawrence School System and was a member of Hillcrest Christian Church. Janice enjoyed scrapbooking, bird watching, and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving to cherish Janice's memory is her son Jason and his wife Rachel, son Jay and his wife Emily, and grandchildren Ella and Rory Williams; brothers, Wayne (Rosa) Jones, Travis (Jeannine) Jones, and Ronald Jones; and sister-in-law, Charlenne Jones. Preceding Janice in death are her parents; husband; and brother Larry Jones. Funeral Services will be at 6:00pm on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00pm to the service time on Monday also at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.Janice will be buried at Moffett Cemetery in Milton, KY at 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.Contributions in memory of Janice may be made to Misty Eyes Animal Center in Avon, IN in honor of her love for animals and her grandpups.
