Karen Kay Wilson, 79, died at 8:15 pm at her home in Bloomfield, IN. Born March 11, 1942 in Bedford, Indiana, she was the daughter of Chester and Dora (Hackney) Rowe. She married Donald Wilson on May 25, 1962. Karen Kay was retired from Walmart in Washington, Indiana. She was a homemaker in her early years and enjoyed sewing for her three girls, Kim, Terri and Kristi. She also enjoyed quilting, painting and fishing with her mother, Dora. She loved to eat out and especially loved her lobster and crab legs. Kay loved to play cards with her friends and visit the casino. Surviving are her three daughters, Kim (Jerry) Waldridge of Owensburg, IN, Terri Wilson of Bloomfield, IN, and Kristi (Dale) Sissman of Bloomfield; one sister, Rita (Bruce) Burns of Odon, IN; six grandchildren, Randi (Erik) Browning of Washington, IN, Steven (Allison) Waldridge of Owensburg, Stephanie Graves of Bloomfield, Aaron Sissman of Bloomfield, IN, Eric (Brooke) Sissman of Ellettsville, IN and Amanda (Tyler) Collier of Vale, NC; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Peggy Ann; and great grandson, Cordae Love. Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, Bedford, IN with Pastor Cliff Woodrum officiating.
