Larry Dale KernDecember 20, 1944 - June 2, 2020Larry Dale Kern, 75, of Bedford passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at IU Health Hospital-Bloomington. Born December 20, 1944 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Dale and Annie (Mills) Kern. Larry married Betty Treece on September 5, 1964 and she survives. He was a maintenance electrician at Cummins and Visteon. He also started Kern Tax Service. He graduated from Bedford High School Class of 1962 and was a veteran of the United States Army as well as a past member of the Eagles. After retirement he enjoyed piecing together quilts. Larry loved to read, travel and play golf. Surviving are his wife, Betty; children, Connie (Joe) Cunningham, David (Ann) Kern, Dana (Joy) Kern; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Way and Larry D. Way as well as many other siblings, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa Cleveland; several brothers and sisters.Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. on Friday, June 5, 2020 and 10:00 A.M. until the service hour on Saturday, at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Ferguson-Lee Chapel with Phil Thorne officiating.
