Larry D. Wilcox, 76, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at his residence. Born on May 26, 1945 in Washington County, he was the son of John and Helen (Briscoe) Wilcox. He married Renotta Abner on June 11, 1967 in Jackson County. Larry was a retired carpenter and was owner and operator of Wilcox Show Cattle. He was a graduate of Tunnelton High School.Surviving to cherish the memory of Larry are his wife, Renotta; one son, John D. Wilcox and wife Trisha of Bedford; grandchildren, Kate Wilcox and Cole Wilcox; and one sister, Shirley Kielhorn and husband Bud of Orleans.Larry was preceded in death by his daughter April Wilcox and one sister, Joyce Ann Salyers. Funeral services for Larry D. Wilcox will be on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Bro. Bud Kielhorn officiating.
