Marlene Sue Graves, 87, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. She was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Bedford, to Augie and Rhea Dawn (Fields) Endris. She married Don Graves, son of Herman and Juanita Graves, on November 27, 1953, and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2010.Sue graduated from Bedford High School, class of 1952. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, and member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the Bereavement Committee.Surviving to cherish Sues memory are four daughters, Susan (Jim) Johnson and Lisa (Dave) Burton, both of Bedford, Emily (Todd) Rubley of Houston, Texas, and Gina Graves of La Plata, Maryland; nine grandchildren, Brittain (Jon) Swetalla Harts, Clint Hewetson, Jessica (Joel) Hewetson Gruber and Meredith Rich, all of Chicago, Dain Swetalla of Victoria, Australia, Nate (Athena) Swetalla of Valpraiso, Indiana, Dirk (Mina) Hewetson of Seattle, Washington, Joshua (Amanda) Burton of Solsbury, Indiana, Angela (Travis) Brewer of Bedford; six great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Neil (Sue) Graves and Joe Reed; sisters-in-law, Barbara Graves, Faye Graves and Linda Endris; sisters, Toody Leggio and Dinah (Tom) Hook; brothers, Louie (Evelyn) Endris, Mike (Janet) Endris, Vincent (Lynn) Endris, Carl (Linda) Endris and Paul (Jenny) Endris; and several nieces and nephews.Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Julie on November 9, 1986, and Laura on January 6, 2019; brothers, Morris, Bill, Fritz Endris; and sister, Catherine Ann Endris. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford with Fr. Jegan Peter and Deacon David Reising officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. A Rosary will be prayed preceding the Mass at 1:00 p.m., Friday, also at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the White River Humane Society or St. Vincents Altar Society.
