Nadine Marie ScofieldApril 8, 1926 - March 23, 2013 Nadine Marie Scofield, age 86, of Bedford, died at 2:57 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at I. U. Health, Bedford.Born April 8, 1926, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Noah Aten Emery and Norma Thomas Emery. She married Alva Burl Scofield on February 15, 1946 and he died on March 10, 1986.She was a retired hairdresser and homemaker. She had attended Bedford High School and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford. She also had been very active with Bedford Senior Citizens.Surviving are three daughters, Norma Jean Dennis Ryan, Oolitic, Peggy Randy Srygley, Bedford, and Nancy K. Jones, Bloomington; six grandchildren, Monique French, Robert Lee Tangie Young, Michelle Chris Anderson, Ian Jenny Martin, Jesse Srygley and Chelsa Srygley; and seven great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alva Burl Scofield; one sister, Margaret Richter; one brother, Roland Emery; and her only son, PFC Robert Lee Scofield, US Marine Corps.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Fr. Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating.
