Norma J. (Chenault) Ryan passed away surrounded by loved ones and friends at 1:07pm on Friday at Garden Villa of Bedford, Indiana. She was born on Oct 20, 1932 to Felix and Leola Chenault. She married Denver R. Ryan on Feb 11, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Ira, Felix, Kenneth, Ray and sisters Helen, Evelyn, Juanita, Mary, Margie and Patty. She is survived by one Brother Larry (Janie) Chenault of Bedford, three children Mike (Susie) Ryan of Jacksonville FL, Cathy (Bill) Hawkins of Bedford and Les (Betsy) Ryan of Appalacecola, FL. Eight grandchildren, Mike (Julie) Ryan, Melissa Ryan, Hope (Jacob) Boulton, Ryan (April) Poole, Jessica (Zack) New, Jerrad Ryan, Dustin (Stormie) Grissom and Alyssa Ryan, ten great grandchildren, Gracie, Zane, Ian, Charlie, Madyx, Maddie, Violet, Eli, August, Paul and Brittany, and many nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved dearly.Norma was a beloved wife, mother, sister friend and "mamaw" to all. She was of Christian faith. The family would like to thank the staff of unit one at Garden Villa, Dr. Deborah Craton and Dr. Shailesh Basani for their excellent care of Norma.Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. at the Ferguson Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
