Paul William StilesMarch 9, 1951 - June 4, 2020Paul William Stiles, 69, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Garden Villa.Born March 9, 1951 in Bedford, he was the son of Forrest and Rose (Beedie) Stiles.He married Elese Brewer on July 5, 1974 and she preceded him in death on January 31, 2020.Paul was a Bedford High School graduate of the Class of 1969 and attended Franklin where he played football. He retired from General Electric then worked security at Ivy Tech in Bloomington. Paul was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where he sang in the choir and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a past Grand Knight. Paul loved bowling in the Cotton Pace and Gaylus Easton Memorial, and once bowled a perfect 300. He was also an avid golfer and softball player. Paul loved going to his grandsons sporting events.He is survived by his son, Todd and wife Cammy of Bedford; three grandsons, Trevyn, Brynden, and Ayden Stiles; brothers, Steve (Charlene) Stiles and Ed (Gayle) Stiles; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 12, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Adam Ahern and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. on Thursday at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M.
