Renee Sheryl Majors, 71, of Bedford, passed away Monday September 16, 2024, at Westview Manor in Bedford. She was born on September 28, 1952, in Bedford to the late James and Bonnie Allen Housier. She married Bruce Majors on February 13, 1970, and he survives.

Renee attended Hillcrest Christian Church, was a 1970 graduate of Bedford High School and was a proud Cutter girl. She was passionate about education and held two Master's degrees and a Theology degree. Renee was a Real Estate Agent and retired as Quality Control at General Electric.

Surviving to cherish Renee's memory is her husband, Bruce; son, Michael Majors and his wife Rose; brother, Gerald Housier and his wife Sandy; niece, Bridgette Bay and her husband Brandon; nephew, Jared Housier and his wife Olivia; sisters in law, Kathy Lockenour and her husband Scott, and Delores Polderman and her husband Neil.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Pastor Mark Fugate officiating. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, also at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
