Roberta Jean MedlockAugust 5, 1948 - May 11, 2020Roberta Jean Medlock, 71, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at IU Health Hospice House Bloomington. Born August 5, 1948 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter Roy Riggs Jr. and Dorothy Jean (Wampler) Riggs. Roberta worked in computer security and privacy and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Sherwood Oaks Community Church in Bedford. She was an Auxiliary member of the American Legion and enjoyed needle craft.Surviving are her mother, Dorothy; two sons, John David (Traci) Medlock and Zachary James Medlock; sister, Patricia (Roger) Scott; uncle, Louis Wampler; aunt, Joan Rosenberger; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Riggs Jr.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or Sherwood Oaks Community Church, Bedford in memory of Roberta.A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
