Dale Tolbert, 77, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at his residence. He was born on September 5, 1947, to Hollie and Hazel (Danner) Tolbert, in Bedford.

Dale had worked at NWSC Crane and was a security guard at Hardin Ridge. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Surviving to cherish Dale's memory are his three daughters, Louisa Jean Ely, Stacie (Anthony) Ratliff and Jessica Brown; nine grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Jada, Kiley, Kody, Kenlee, Michael, Matthew and Adam; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Bud (Pam) Tolbert; and several nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; one great granddaughter, Margaret; one sister, Ruth; and one son-in-law, Stacey Ely.

Cremation services were chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes of Bedford has been entrusted with Dale's care and services.
