Willena A. Cook, 67, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 5:15pm, at the I.U. Hospice House in Bloomington. Born August 26, 1956, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Willis R. Langley and Stella (Deckard) Langley. She married John Cook, and he survives. Willena of Christian faith, loved gardening, flowers, and buying and selling antiques. She loved spending time with her grandchildren; and enjoyed the last 33 years with her husband John, a good husband, caregiver, and companion. Surviving to cherish the memory of Willena is her husband, John Cook; two daughters, Michelle Owens of California; Melissa (Chad) Smith of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Dylan, and Alex Smith; Five siblings, Karen Lasley, Tereasa (Dan) Polley, Tony Langley, Allen (Christine) Langley, Sheila (Randy) Lane; along with several nieces and nephews. Willena was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family funeral homes in Bedford with Pastor Curtis Porter officiating.
